Dr. Kevin Ratliff is the Dean of Workforce and Continuing Education at Blue Ridge Community College overseeing many short-term training programs designed to help local residents upskill within weeks and gain employment at a better wage. He has 25 years of experience at BRCC serving as a mathematics faculty member for the first eight years and then as an administrator in various roles. He has a Doctorate of Education degree from the University of Virginia in Curriculum and Instruction and finds great satisfaction by helping the ALICE population improve their lives through educational attainment and by serving on the board of the United Way. He resides in Augusta County with his wife and two dogs, Callie (a Gordon Setter) and Pen-E (a Brittany).
