Margaret is employed by DuPont Community Credit Union as the Director of Community and Business Development. Formerly, she spent 9 years as the Executive Director/CEO of the Augusta Regional Free Clinic and Augusta Regional Dental Clinic. Margaret also held the position of Business Manager at the Medical Automation Research Center at the University of Virginia School of Medicine for 7 years and served as the Director of Provider Networks for Mid Atlantic Medical Services, Inc. (MAMSI) Health Plans.
Public and community service, and partnership cultivation are defining features of her professional experience as her volunteer board and committee service demonstrates. Margaret has a six year affiliation with the United Way SAW, last year as Board Chair. Margaret also serves on Valley Hope Counseling, Waynesboro Noon Rotary Club, Augusta Medical Group, Augusta Health Community Partnership Committee, Blue Ridge Community College Business Advisory and Mary Baldwin University Health Advisory Committees. Previously, Margaret served on the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, and DuPont Community Credit Union Board of Directors.
Margaret graduated from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland and continues to pursue a Master’s of Public Health at the University of Virginia. Margaret lives in Waynesboro with her husband Jeff and daughter Lauren, who is a third year at UVa.
